2015-16 Schedule
EAST LANSING, Mich. - After making program history last season as graduating senior Harry Jadun and then junior JP Mullane became the first All-Americans in program history in doubles, Michigan State men's tennis head coach Gene Orlando has transitioned to a new season as he released the 2015-2016 schedule his team.
The Spartans will kick off the fall with the Western Michigan Invite Sept. 25-26, followed by the ITA Midwest Regionals Oct. 22-26 in Notre Dame, Indiana.
The spring season will commence Jan. 16, once again finding the Spartans traveling to Notre Dame, with dual matches beginning at home Jan. 18 featuring the University of Toledo and Wright State University.
Big Ten Conference play features a matchup against University of Michigan Feb. 19 on the road with consistent games against conference competitors running March 19 through April 24.
The Big Ten Championships will be held at Minnesota April 28-May 1.
Spartan tennis boasted a Final Four appearance last year in the NCAA Doubles Championship semifinal as well as garnering praise off the court by receiving the Athletic Director's Award for posting the highest MSU team cumulative grade-point average after the 2014 fall semester.
