
Spartans Snag Road Win Over Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Michigan State (12-15, 3-7) defeated Purdue (4-18, 0-10) on Friday for its third Big Ten win, 6-1.
The Spartans won the doubles point, and never looked back. Gijs Linders and Mac Roy won the No. 2 doubles match first, 8-3, over Arthur Dobradin and Lucas Dages. Doug Zade and Brett Forman took the No. 3 doubles match with an 8-5 victory against Mateus Silva and Renan Hanayama
Harry Jadun won the first match of singles play at the No. 3 spot, with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Silva. Linders, Forman, Jasper Koenen and Zade all won their singles match in three sets.
Dobradin won at No. 4 singles, giving Purdue its lone point in the dual match.
Michigan State travels Indiana on Sunday to take on the Hoosiers at 2 p.m..
