ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) Jasmine Hines scored a career-high 21 points and No. 25 Michigan State beat Oakland 82-62 on Sunday.
Hines made 7 of 9 shots. She scored 12 points in the first half which ended with the Spartans (7-2) leading 43-30. Sunday was Hines' third double-digit scoring outing this season, but first since MSU's third game of the season, joining vs. Western Michigan (11/15/15) and Idaho State (11/21/15), and was her first double-figure points game on the road this season.
Hines scored the first four points of the game the Spartans never trailed. Tori Jankoska's 3-pointer with 3:12 left in the first quarter put Michigan State up 19-7 and the lead would remain in double figures. The Spartans' largest lead was 24 points with 7:09 left in the game.
Branndais Agee had her first double-double this season with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Spartans, who led 47-19 on the boards. Aerial Powers scored 17 points and Jankoska 11.
Olivia Nash and Taylor Jones scored 14 points each for the Golden Grizzlies (5-4). Elena Popkey added 12 and Taylor Gleason 11.
The victory was Michigan State's third straight. The Spartans are currently 2-0 on their three-game road trip.
Michigan State will conclude non-conference road play at Northeastern on Friday, Dec. 18. The women will make the trip along with the No. 1 MSU men's team and the Spartan hockey squad. Both the men's basketball team and the hockey team will play on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Michigan State's 82 points Sunday was its second-highest of the season behind 103 scored against Cincinnati on Nov. 27 in a 103-63 win in the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.
The Spartans scored over 70 points for the seventh-straight game and eighth time overall this season, improving to 6-2 ... MSU has won 74 of its last 78 games when scoring at least 70 points, and MSU is 91-9 (.910) under head coach Suzy Merchant when hanging at least 70 points on the scoreboard.
The Spartans have been extremely effective closing out games over the last couple years, winning 125 of their last 129 games (.969) when leading with five minutes left, including 76 of their last 79. In Coach Merchant's tenure, Michigan State is 161-7 (.958) when holding a lead with five minutes left.
Senior forward Jasmine Hines netted a layup just 16 seconds into Sunday's game for an early 2-0 Spartans' lead, as MSU is now 5-1 when scoring first.
MSU's 25-13 first-quarter lead was the Spartans' seventh game with a lead at the end of the first frame and MSU is now 6-1 when leading after the first quarter.
The Spartans led at halftime, 43-30, marking MSU's third-straight lead at intermission and the seventh halftime advantage this season, as Michigan State is now 7-0.
MSU's +28 rebounding margin (47-19) was the Spartans' largest of the season and fourth game this season with +20 or more advantage ... The 19 rebounds by Oakland was a season-low for an MSU opponent.
The Spartans' 16 assists was their seventh-straight game with 16 or more helpers.
Senior forward Jasmine Hines netted a new career-high with 21 points Sunday, topping her previous season-best of 16 against Idaho State on (11/21/15) and previous career-high of 19 points versus Milwaukee (12/1/12) ... Sunday was Hines' third double-digit scoring outing this season, but first since MSU's third game of the season, joining vs. Western Michigan (11/15/15) and Idaho State (11/21/15), and was her first double-figure points game on the road this season.
Sunday was the ninth game with at least three players in double-figure points, as well as the third game with at least four players, improving to 2-0 when four players post double-digits.
Sophomore guard Branndais Agee registered her first double-double of the season and third of her career with 13 points and a season-high 10 rebounds ... With 13 points Sunday, Agee tallied double-digit points for the second game in a row and the fifth in last six games as part of seventh time this season ... Agee also netted a career-high tying three three-pointers, matching the three treys she had against Louisville (12/3/15).
Junior forward Aerial Powers has netted double-figures in all seven games she's played in this season and 58th game in her career with 17 points Sunday ... Powers' 17 points gives her 1,247 for her career, moving up to No. 11 on MSU's career scoring list, passing Lykendra Johnson (2008-12) with 1,242 points and closing in on the top 10 as Kelli Roehrig (2001-05) holds the 10th spot with 1,370 career points.
With 11 points Sunday, junior guard Tori Jankoska has tallied double-figures in all nine games played this season and 59th times in her career ... Jankoska has also netted at least one three-pointer in all nine games this season ... Jankoska's 11 points Sunday gives her 1,106 for her career, remaining at No. 21 on MSU's career scoring list, but just needing two points to crack the top 20 as Becky Cummings (1997-2001) holds the No. 20 spot with 1,108 points.
