Mullane Finishes ITA Singles Run

TULSA, Okla.The Spartans finished singles play in the ITA All-American Championships on Monday. Columbia's Ashok Narayana defeated John Patrick Mullane in the main qualifying draw, 7-5, 7-6(7).
Mullane was the No. 7 seed in the pre-qualifying round, which earned him a first round bye. He went on beat Alberto Esteban of Tennessee Tech in the second round, 7-5, 7-6(3), TCU's Will Stein in the third round, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, and Jayson Amos of Oregon in the final round, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
Mullane will pair with Brett Forman in doubles qualifying Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., and will face off against Texas A&M's AJ Cantanzariti and Max Lunkin.
