Michigan State Men's Tennis Announces Recruiting Class

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's tennis head coach Gene Orlando has announced that Colin Harvey, Ivan Rakic and William Shisler have signed National Letters of Intent with MSU and will join the Spartan program for the 2015-16 season. Below is a look at the recruiting class:
Colin Harvey | 6-2 | 205 | Lincolnshire, Ill. | Stevenson High School | Rank: 126 (TennisRecruiting.net)
High School and Personal Data: Coached by Steve Wild and R.K. Bacalla . . . Illinois state champion in doubles for 2014 (partner was Andrew Komarov) . . . All-state selection . . . Sectional and conference champion from 2012 to 2014 . . . Team captain . . . Plans to study business management and become a medical salesman . . . Son of Greg and Andrea Harvey.

High School and Personal Data: Coached by his father, Predrag Rakic . . . Finished No. 5 in the Midwest Open Level 2 this past July . . . Earned all-conference, all-district and all-state honors all three years in high school . . . Team captain . . . Plans to study pre-med and have own practice as orthopedic surgeon . . . Son of Predrag and Aleksandra Rakic.

All-conference and all-area selection all three years . . . Team captain . . . Also lettered four years in golf and was 2014 conference champion . . . Plans to study political science and work at a major sports corporation . . . Son of William Shisler and Chris Wells.
