
Men's Tennis Falls to Minnesota, 5-2

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team fell to Minnesota, 5-2, on Sunday, March 29, at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. After the loss, MSU is 11-7 overall.
Doubles action saw a Spartan win at the No. 2 spot by Joe Vallee (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) and Jason Norville (Farmington Hills, Mich.) over Tobias Wernet and Rok Bonin, 8-7(5).
Norville went on to win at No. 4 singles, posting a, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(6), win over Phillip Arndt. Freshman Denis Bogatov (Gurnee, Ill.) dominated the competition at the No. 3 spot after he defeated Dino Bilankov, 6-1, 6-3.
Michigan State will next host Northwestern on Friday, April 2, at 12 p.m. and then Wisconsin on Saturday, April 3, at 12 p.m. as well. Both matches will be played at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.
