Ann Arbor, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team fell to the University of Michigan, 6-1, on Saturday, March 20, in Ann Arbor, Mich., putting them at 11-5 on the spring season.
"It was a really long match," said head coach Gene Orlando. "We had a lot of chances but we just didn't get it done today."
The match was highlighted with two Spartan wins, one at No. 3 doubles and one at No. 6 singles. Junior Clark Richardson (Leawood, Kan.) teamed with freshman Denis Bogatov (Gurnee, Ill.) to top Chris Cha and Duncan Muil, 8-4.
