
Men's Tennis Falls to No. 58 Northwestern

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team fell, 5-2, at No. 58 Northwestern Saturday in Evanston, Ill. Freshman Ronnie Hulewicz (Tequesta, Fla.) and senior Alex Forger (Okemos, Mich.) picked up the only wins for the Spartans in singles play.
Hulewicz posted a win over Alex Sanborn, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7), at the No. 5 position, improving to 15-2 on the season. His mark is the best singles record on the team. Forger topped No. 119 Tobias Reitz, 6-4, 7-6 (3), to pick up the other point for the Spartans.
MSU will face Wisconsin tomorrow with play starting at 12 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin.
