
Men's Tennis Ends Play at Big Ten Indoors

EAST LANSING, Mich. -
The Michigan State men's tennis team ended play at Big Ten Indoors on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility and the M.A.C. Four Spartans competed in the backdraw but fell to cut play a day early for the team.
Sophomore Austin Brooks (Houston, Texas) defeated Zotov of Iowa in a close match that went into a super tie-breaker, 6-7(4), 6-7(5), 10-5. He was the only Spartan to continue on to the fourth round where he fell 6-1, 7-5, to Kendall of Indiana.
Senior Jason Norville (Farmington Hills, Mich.), sophomore Ronnie Hulewicz (Tequesta, Fla.) and junior Clark Richardson (Leawood, Kan.) each fell to their opponent in the third round of the backdraw.
Semifinals and finals will be played tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m. at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. Check back to msuspartans.com for results at the end of the day.
