
Men's Tennis Concludes Play at Notre Dame Invite

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
Michigan State wrapped up the Notre Dame Invitational with senior John Allare (Maineville, Ohio) leading the Spartans with wins in both singles and doubles play.
Allare defeated Aba Omodele-Lucien of Harvard in singles action posting an impressive 6-3, 6-1 record. Teaming up with senior Alex Forger (Okemos, Mich.), the doubles team defeated Eduardo Pavia and Andres Monroy of Ball State University.
Freshman, Austin Brooks (Houston, Texas) defeated Michael Kalfayan of Harvard in a tie-braking set in singles play while classmate, Ronnie Hulewicz (Tequesta, Fla.) posted a victory over Derek Carpenter of Ball State University, 8-4.
Michigan State will next travel to Columbus, Ohio where seniors Alex Forger and John Allare will represent the Spartans at the ITA Midwest Regionals on Oct. 16.
