
Michigan State Wraps Up Day Two at Notre Dame Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
Michigan State advanced players into singles and doubles play at the Notre Dame Invitational. Freshman, Austin Brooks (Houston, Tex.) and senior, John Allare (Maineville, Ohio) took wins in singles while freshman, Ronnie Hulewicz (Tequesta, Fla.) and sophomore, Clark Richardson (Leawood, Kan.) teamed up to win in doubles action.
Both Brooks and Allare posted wins in tie-breaking sets to carry on play for the Spartans in singles. Brooks defeated Brian Kelly of Notre Dame and Allare defeated Luke Rassow-Kantor of Wisconsin.
The doubles team of Hulewicz and Richardson defeated Wegener and Carpenter of Ball State University.
Junior, Jason Norville (Farmington Hills, Mich.) and sophomore, Clark Richardson (Leawood, Kan.) both fell short of wins in tie-breaking sets in singles play.
Michigan State will conclude play at the Notre Dame Invitational Sunday, Oct. 12 in South Bend, Ind.
