On the play of Myisha Bannister, who set career-highs in points, rebounds and blocks...
There's no one more deserving than Myisha Bannister. We had great confidence in her and it was just a good time to switch up a little bit. She took advantage of the opportunity. I thought she was demoralizing on defense. Early on, she frustrated Megan Skouby (a Preseason All-Big Ten selection). I'm just proud of her because she's been through so much. Everyone knows about her knee injury and at Oklahoma she was starting for us. It's just great to see her come back as a strong senior.
On the team's dealing with early foul trouble...
I was very proud of the team in the first half because we really were in foul trouble, the worst we've been all year. At one point, (shooting guard) Alisa Wulff was playing the No. 4 position to give you some kind of idea of our situation with Laura (Hall) and Lauren (Aitch) being out. It was a great team effort, probably the best team effort of the season.
On playing all 11 available players...
I think we have different players who can help in different ways. Takeya Fortner, if you look at the stat line just has one assist, but her defensive pressure and her ability to pick up people full court and not tire, that's so important in making people shoot 38 percent from the floor. Everybody has something they can offer. It's our job as coaches to try to find that from people and I think today we did.
