Rinks Falls In ITA All-American Tournament

TULSA, Okla. - Michigan State junior Nick Rinks fell in the third and final round of the qualifying portion of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships, on Oct. 4. Rinks fell in three sets to California's Pierre Mouillon 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. The elimination defeat was Rinks' (5-1) first loss of the season.
Rinks advanced to round three after picking up wins on back-to-back days against Tennessee's Ben Rogers (6-3, 6-2) and Northwestern's Willy Lock (7-6(8), 1-6, 6-3). Rinks entered the tournament ranked No. 77 in the ITA national preseason poll.
