Lindsay Bowen matched her season-high with 22 points and hit a career-best 12 free throws on a career-high 14 attempts...the 12 free throws made are tied for second most in an MSU game and also tie a Breslin Center record (Tamika Louis of Fresno State vs. St. John's on Nov. 22, 1997)...Bowen became the fourth Spartan to reach the 1,500-point plateau for her career, and now has 1,517 points, just 151 shy of Kisha Kelley's school record 1,668 points.
Liz Shimek dished out a career-high six assists...she scored 19 points on 7-of-18 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Victoria Lucas-Perry hit a career-best seven free throws, making all seven of her attempts...she scored 15 points in playing a career-high 39 minutes.
MSU trailed by nine points at halftime (35-26), the largest deficit at the half at home for the Spartans since MSU trailed by 13 points to Penn State (27-14) on Feb. 26, 2004...that game was also the last time MSU lost at home...the Spartans have now won 22 straight at home and 21 consecutive vs. non-conference opponents.
