MSU Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie:
"It was a great basketball game and a great crowd, I appreciate the crowd. It should have been an overtime game. It definitely should have been an overtime game. Our team showed a lot of courage to come back, from I think it was 10 down. Unfortunately, our second half statistics would lead us to why we were 10 down, in term of our shot selection and shooting the ball a little quick."
On the last play...
"I had one time out and should have called it. We were out of position, we should have all those kids in front of us."
On the game...
"If you really want to know the story of the game, it's Ashley Allen hitting five three's. I don't think she has done that all year."
On Lindsay Bowen's final minute effort...
"Lindsay just did a great job. That steal was impressive, with a kid hanging on her. Just to convert that play and make sure it is a three-point play, I think that just shows the type of person she is."
Ohio State Head Coach Jim Foster:
On the last play...
"Jessica (Davenport) will always be in the back court and I thought Marscilla (Packer) did an excellent job looking up and knowing Davenport was there. It was very good timing on both of their parts and it was a great shot."
On practicing that play...
"We have a three second play and it involves Davenport at the other end of the court."
On the last minute...
"It's amazing how quick things can turn around. We always practice catching the ball with two hands and Debbie (Merrill) made a fundamental mistake going up with one hand, but that's just a habit and she'll break that very soon."
