* Michigan State's 21 wins are tied for fourth most in a season in school history. The MSU record for wins in a season is 23, set during the 1976-77 season.
* This is the seventh time in 24 seasons of Big Ten basketball that MSU has won at least 10 conference games. MSU has won at least 10 games in the league three straight years, going 10-6 each of the past two seasons.
* Michigan State improved to 7-1 this season against nationally-ranked teams. The seven wins against ranked opponents are two more than the previous school single-season record.

* MSU held Minnesota to 48 points, which was the seventh time this season that MSU has held a team below 50 points, and fifth time in the last eight games.
* Minnesota entered the game ranked sixth nationally in field goal percentage (.480) but shot just 35.3 percent. The Gophers were 12th nationally in 3-point field goal percentage (.391) but were 0-for-17 from long range.
* MSU had a 35-26 rebounding advantage against the Gophers, who were ranked sixth nationally in rebound margin at +9.5. MSU, the nation's No. 4 team in rebound margin (+10.0) has been outrebounded just twice all season.

Haynes' three treys tied her career high, and she also tied a career best with four assists.
