MSU head coach Joanne P. McCallie:

"We're just trying to get better. The positive thing is that we got to play a lot of players in critical situations. The bottom line is that wins are the most important thing, and we got the win.

We were looking to salvage our defense, and I'm happy that we caused 23 turnovers and held them under 50 points. We usually play strong in the first half, but today we played strong in the second half, and I'm pleased with our effort over the whole 40 minutes.

We're just getting started. A lot of players got to play over a course of three days in great competition. We definitely have some things to improve on, and we will learn from this experience."
