* Michigan State now leads the all-time series with Cincinnati 5-0.
* This is the third time in the last four seasons and second year in a row that MSU has started its season by winning six of its first seven games.
* Michigan State has scored at least 75 points in six of its first seven games. Last season, MSU scored 75 or more points only four times all season.
* Trailing 59-55 with less than seven minutes left, Michigan State went on a 14-0 run, and outscored Cincinnati 22-2 to end the game.
* Four players scored 74 of MSU's 77 points, as the Spartans had a season-low two points from its bench.
* Lindsay Bowen led MSU with 28 points, and has now scored 84 points in her last three games.
* Kelli Roehrig had her third double-double in her last four games with 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was her third game this season with 12 boards.
* Liz Shimek had her second double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
* Bowen and Roehrig both had the 50th double-figure scoring games of their careers.
* Roehrig moved up two spots to 14th on MSU's all-time scoring list and now has 988. Bowen jumped up two spots to 22nd with 929 career points, while Kristin Haynie, who had 10 points, moved into 25th with an even 900 career points.
* Bowen (20 field goal attempts), Roehrig (19) and Shimek (16) all had career highs for field goal attempts.
* MSU had a 42-34 rebounding edge and has now outrebounded six of its seven opponents this season.
* In the second half, MSU had just two turnovers and limited Cincinnati to 24 percent shooting (6-of-25).
* Michigan State had a 40-20 edge in points in the paint.
