EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State University will be hosting the 2003 Midwest Regional Championships Oct. 23-28 for the second time in three years. Players representing a total of 31 teams will battle in qualifying and main draw singles as well as in doubles. Admission is free throughout the entire tournament. The singles champion and runner-up as well as the doubles champion automatically advance to the ITA National Championships in early November. Admission is free throughout the entire tournament.
Michigan State Facilities
Two sites are scheduled for the Midwest Regional. The MSU Indoor Tennis Facility, with a total of eight courts, seating for 1,200 and spacious locker rooms, will be the main site while the Michigan Athletic Club, with 10 indoor courts, will serve as the site for numerous early round matches and player practice sessions.

Driving Directions:
From West: I-496 through Lansing to U.S. 127 South. Take Exit 9 (Trowbridge Road) which heads east from the highway. Turn right on Harrison Road. Turn right on Mount Hope Road. Indoor Facility is on the right hand side before the underpass.
From East: I-96 west to U.S. 127 North. Take Exit 9 (Trowbridge Road) which heads east from the highway. Turn right on Harrison Road. Turn right on Mount Hope Road. Indoor Facility is on the right hand side before the underpass.
From North: South on U.S. 127. Take Exit 9 (Trowbridge Road) which heads east from the highway. Turn right on Harrison Road. Turn right on Mount Hope Road. Indoor Facility is on the right hand side before the underpass.

Sports Information and Media Information
Brackets will be updated online throughout the tournament as well as the completion of each day. After the final match of the day has ended, brackets will be faxed to the respective sports information offices. If you wish to receive a PDF email of the brackets, please contact Brian Ormiston in the MSU sports information office at 517-355-2271.
Members of the media are welcome at any time during the tournament. Passes are not needed. A member of the MSU sports information office should be at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility during each day. On behalf of the ITA office, it is suggested to include "ITA" in any releases or television highlights. If you wish to take live or still pictures of a particular match, you may do so from the bleacher sections behind each court. On-court photography will also be allowed, but please contact Brian Ormiston beforehand for instructions at 517-355-2271.
