EAST LANSING, Mich. - Perhaps the one aspect of Michigan State's offense which is unaffected by the absence of Bryan Adams and Shawn Horcoff, who are out with injuries, is its top power-play unit.
That group, made up of senior Sean Berens, juniors Mike York and Jeff Kozakowski, sophomore Brad Hodgins and freshman Rustyn Dolyny, converted on three of six power-play chances Friday night to make up for the loss of Horcoff and Adams and lead the third-ranked Spartans to a 4-2 win over Western Michigan at Munn Ice Arena.
