Meredith Norris is currently in her third year as Academic Coordinator for Women’s Volleyball, Men's and Women's Cross Country and her first year for Men's and Women's Tennis. Prior to her current role, she served as the Graduate Assistant and a Learning Assistant with Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS).

Norris earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Kinesiology from Michigan State, with her master’s specialization in Sports Administration. As an undergrad, she was an active member on the MSU Women’s Volleyball team, earning four varsity letters and helped lead the Spartans to an Elite Eight appearance in 2017. She was elected team captain as a senior, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors three times and twice named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. She also participated in several community outreach events through her position as Team Representative and Executive Board Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Norris is no stranger to MSU Athletics, originally from Corunna, Michigan, she grew up attending Michigan State volleyball and hockey games with her family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in Northern Michigan, reading, and hanging out with her dog, Walter.
