2023-24 (SENIOR)
Recorded one tournament victory at the Western Michigan Fall Invite, defeating Julia Frazier, 7-5, 6-4 … Made two dual appearances on the doubles courts against Ball State and Oakland. Partnered with Makenna Martinez at the No. 3 slot where they defeated Oakland’s Alma Orenstain and Aya Orenstain, 6-1.
2022-23 (JUNIOR)
Academic All-Big Ten Selection … Saw action in the fall by going 2-4 in singles across two invitationals … Started the season with a win over Ella Franz of Cleveland State and finished the fall with a win over Marquette’s Elizabeth Ferdman … Went 3-3 in doubles play in the fall … Had a 2-2 mark at the Spartan Invite going 2-1 with teammate Makenna Martinez.
2021-22 (SOPHOMORE)Named an ITA Scholar Athlete and and Academic All-Big Ten selection in the postseason... Made her first career dual match appearance in the 5-2 win over DePaul, playing No. 3 doubles alongside Charlotte Gisclon.
2020-21 (FRESHMAN)
ITA Scholar-Athlete... Academic All-Big Ten... Did not compete in singles or doubles action.
Prior to MSU: A four star recruit…Participated in her first open national at age 9...Played six years for zones team... At 13, she became the youngest winner in history at the West Virginia Women’s Open...Played for Upper St. Clair High School in her freshman year and was WPIAL Finalist, State Qualifier and Team Captain... Won Sportsman of the Year for USTA Middle States 14’s and 18’s... Competed in three 18’s National Clays… Senior class award “Future Olympian”… Graduated high honors from Upper St. Clair High School... Accepted into MSU Residential Business Community and was admitted directly into the Broad Business School prior to the start of her freshman year.
Personal: Born in February of 2002 in Pittsburgh, PA, Schiffman is the daughter of Adina and Frank Schiffman... Her brother, Sam, played for the Scarlet Club Tennis Team at Ohio State throughout his collegiate career... Majors in Supply Chain Management and minors in Graphic Design... She will obtain her masters in Packaging Design in her fifth year at Michigan State... In her spare time, she enjoys to read, volunteer, hike, paint, travel, bake and sing.
