Finished the season as the 35-ranked doubles tandem with fellow Spartan Nicole Conard … Went 4-8 in singles play playing majority of her time on court No. 2 with a 3-2 record … Went 12-5 in doubles play with all 17 matches played on the No. 1 court … Went 8-2 overall with partner Nicole Conard, the tandem defeated USC’s No. 15-ranked Eryn Cayetano and Emma Charney, 6-2 … Amassed a 4-2 record in B1G doubles matches … Finished the regular season partnering with Liisa Vehvilainen and knocked off Iowa’s No. 81-ranked doubles pairing Daianne Hayashida and Vipasha Mehra, 6-3.
2022-23 (JUNIOR)
ITA Scholar-Athlete … Academic All-Big Ten selection … Went 6-12 in singles play through the year including a 4-7 mark in dual match play … Went 2-1 at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic … Played a majority of the season in the No. 2 singles slot, amassing a 4-4 record … Went 1-3 in conference play … Went 14-10 overall in doubles play with fellow Spartan Liisa Vehvilaeinen, including a 10-7 mark in dual matches … Had a seven-match doubles win streak in non-conference play to being the dual season.
2021-22 (SOPHOMORE)
Had a strong season in singles play, amassing a 13-8 overall record with a 10-6 mark in dual match play... Saw most of her action in the middle of the singles lineup, going 8-4 at the No. 4 line with a 2-1 mark at the No. 3 position... Was an even 2-2 in B1G matches... Logged 11 overall victories in doubles play with nine of them coming during the dual match ledger... Went 2-3 in the top line of doubles with a 7-10 record at the No. 2 position... Played the majority of the season alongside Nicole Stephens, going 9-10 in the process.2020-21 (FRESHMAN)
Named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree... Posted an overall singles record of 8-9, including a 4-3 mark in the No. 6 spot and 4-4 mark in the No. 5 position … 7-9 in Big Ten singles play … Went 6-11 in doubles, finding success with a 5-3 record when paired with Lauren Lemonds … Paired with Lemonds for a 6-3 win at the Big Ten Tournament over Wisconsin’s Nastasya Semenovski and Christina Zordani … Also paired with Maja Pietrowicz, Dagmar Zdrubecka, Samantha Memije and Caroline Szabo over course of the season.

Daughter of Gokkan and Maria Can... Has three sisters, Sibel, Ceylan and Aleyna... Prior to MSU, she attended Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida... Was the Plantation ITF Doubles Champion, in addition to Florida's 18s Doubles State Champion... Currently majors in Social Work with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies... In her spare time, she enjoys reading and listening to music
