2019: Named to Academic All-Big Ten during the spring season … Scholar-Athlete Award winner at the 2018-19 SASS Academic Excellence banquet … Second-Team All-Big Ten at the 2019 Big Ten Championships ... 2018: CRCA National Scholar-Athlete … Big Ten Distinguished Scholar … Academic All-Big Ten … Manned the bow seat in the second varsity eight to open the season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), defeating boats from Miami, Minnesota, Clemson, and Tennessee … Raced Harvard/Radcliffe and Yale in the Big Ten/Ivy League Double Dual in the second varsity eight (3/24) … Rowed in the bow seat against stiff competition at the Pac-12 Challenge (3/31), racing in the second varsity eight in races against USC, Cal, and Stanford … At the Big Ten Double Dual (4/7), fell to Iowa in the morning race before rebounding with a half-length win over Indiana in the afternoon in the second varsity eight three seat … Dropped a pair of races at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/7), falling to Iowa and Indiana … Raced to a sixth-place finish at the Big Ten Championships in the three seat of MSU’s varsity four (5/12).
2017: A 2017 CRCA National Scholar Athlete... A 2017 Academic All-Big Ten Selection… Opened the season with strong performances at the Oak Ridge Cardinal in the second varsity eight, finishing second to Virginia in a time of 6:48.672 and defeating Notre Dame and West Virginia in the morning session and posting a heat victory in a time of 6:51.429 over Clemson, Minnesota, and the Mountaineers in the afternoon (3/11) … On Sunday at Oak Ridge (3/12), was fourth behind Michigan, Virginia, and Tennessee in a time of 6:52.579 … Posted a commanding victory in the opening Big Ten race of the season in the varsity eight at Rutgers, defeating the Scarlet Knights by more than 10 seconds (7:00.9)… In the second varsity eight, rowed at Princeton with Brown in the day after the B1G opener (3/25)… Finished third behind No. 10 Princeton and No. 5 Brown in a time of 7:10.7… In a Big Ten Double Dual at Indiana (4/1), rowed in the second varsity eight and clocked a 6:56.16 lined up against No. 14 Iowa, 15 seconds behind the Hawkeyes, and was about a length behind the Hoosiers in the afternoon (6:45.61-6:50.91), but had a half-length advantage on Kansas at the finish line… Hosting a Big Ten Double Dual on Lake Ovid (4/8), finished second to No. 11 Wisconsin (6:29.44 -6:53.34) in the morning and was about a length of open water behind Minnesota in the afternoon session in the second varsity eight (6:49.08)… Racing on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass. in the second varsity eight, was about a second off the pace of Northeastern (4/22), and was two seats behind at the finish (6:42.684 -- 6:43.731) … Was eight seconds behind No. 16 Radcliffe (6:44.6- 6:52.6) in a second raceday on the Charles (4/23)… In the second varsity eight at Big Ten Championships (5/14), finished sixth behind Indiana in a time of 6:32.868, four seats ahead of Minnesota.
2016: Split a pair of races against Michigan at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in the second novice eight, besting the Wolverines by nearly a length in the morning session (7:21.9-7:25.4), and falling to UM in a time of 7:52.7 later that day ... Posted a great effort in a pair of three-boat races against Michigan and Rutgers at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/3) in the second novice eight races in Princeton, NJ, winning the first race over Michigan by four seats and the host Scarlet Knights by open water (7:29.3), and opening up the margin over the Wolverines to 15 seconds in the second session ... Took a commanding victory from host Ohio State in the second novice eight race in Columbus (4/24) , clocked in a time of 6:58.4 -- more than 20 seconds ahead of the Buckeyes ... In the novice eight at Michigan (4/30), took second (7:03.61) behind Louisville and a length ahead of host Michigan ... At Big Ten Championships in the novice eight, (5/15), finished sixth in a time of 6:57.190, a length behind fourth-place Iowa and about seven seats behind Ohio State.
