INDOOR: Placed fourth in the 200m at the GVSU Holiday Open, running a 21.71 time … Ran a 48.74 in the 400m at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, placing 26th, along with a leg of a 3:12.47 time in the 4x100, placing seventh.
OUTDOOR: Finished first in all three events at Spartan Invite, running a 21.45 in the 200, a 41.77 in the 4x100 and a 3:22.72 in the 4x400 … Finished 18th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 200m, running a 21.94 time.
2022:
INDOOR: Placed first in the 400m at the Badgers Windy City Invite with a 47.37 time, along with fifth in the 4x400 relay at a 3:17.26 time … Posted a 46.54 400m PR at the Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing sixth, along with placing ninth in the 4x400 relay with a 3:13.14 time.
OUTDOOR: Ran a PR in the 200m of 21.11 at Raleigh Relays, placing second … Placed first in both the 400m and 4x100 relay at Spartan Invite, running a 48.07 in the 400m and a 41.77 in the 4x100 … Finished first in the 400m and 4x400 relay at the Indiana Invitational, along with second in the 4x10 relay, running a 46.64 in the 400m, a 40.92 in the 4x100, and a 3:09.05 in the 4x400.
Prior to MSU: Won the 400-meter dash in the high school Outdoor Nationals as a senior, claiming the national crown with a time of 46.13 ... Won the MHSAA Division 1 outdoor state title in the 400m as a senior, setting an MHSAA finals record with a time of 46.52 ... Placed third in the MHSAA outdoor 200m finals in 2021.
