Started the outdoor slate at the USF Alumni Invitational, anchoring the 4x400 relay squad (3:35.70) and recording a mark in the javelin (38.52m)... Shined at home during the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invite, placing seventh in the pole vault (4.90m)... Continued to climb the standings in the pole vault, placing seventh at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic (4.91m) and 10th at the Len Paddock Open (4.76m)... Capped his sophomore season representing the Green and White at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, recording a 19th-place finish in the pole vault with a height of 4.92m.
