Opened the indoor schedule with a podium finish at the GVSU Holiday Open, capturing third place in the 5000m with a time of 14:10.11... Followed it up by turning in a lifetime indoor best in the 3000m at the Meyo Invitational, crossing the line in 8:08.50... Lowered his personal standard in the 5000m at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational, clocking a swift 14:10.85... Represented the Spartans at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, competing in the 5000m final and crossing the line in 14:22.15.Â
OUTDOOR: Campaigned consistently across the long-distance loops during the spring stretch... Kicked off the season at the Raleigh Relays, recording a 3:58.47 in the 1500m... Clocked a 14:11.54 in the 5000m at the Wake Forest Invitational... Doubled back at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic, recording a 3:58.36 performance in the 1500m...
