INDOOR: Placed eighth in the 3000m with a time of 8:29.43 at the Power Five Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) ... Posted a time of 14:35.75 in the 5000m at the GVSU Big Meet Invite (Feb. 14) ... Recorded a time of 14:39.67 in the 5000m at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 28-29).

Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Kent City High School in Kent City, Michigan for coach Jill Evers ... Also, four-year letterwinner in basketball ... Four-year captain in cross country and two-year captain in track and basketball ... Earned All-Conference, All-Region and All-State honors in cross country all four years, notching the same honors in track with All-State accolades in three seasons ... As a senior capped off his cross country high school career with a fourth place finish individually and helped his team to a sixth place team finish ... Finished second in the two mile and eighth in the two mile relay, while his team finished third overall during his senior track season ... Earned Academic All-State honors five times throughout his high school career ... Member of the National Honors Society and graduated with High Honors.
