2024 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in 10 games on special teams to earn his first letter . . . made 138 appearances on special teams and tallied two tackles . . . credited with an assisted tackle vs. Indiana . . . recorded a solo tackle in the Homecoming win over Iowa.
2023 SEASON: Played in one game to preserve his redshirt season . . . made his collegiate debut at Indiana, with five appearances on the kick coverage team.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Played defensive back, running back, wide receiver and quarterback for Coach Jacob Tropp at South Lyon East High School . . . also played basketball and lacrosse . . . helped South Lyon East to a school single-season record seven wins during his senior season in 2022 and a berth in the MHSAA Division 2 playoffs . . . son of Sam and Alicia Gash . . . his father, Sam, played 12 years in the NFL as a fullback (New England Patriots, 1992-97; Buffalo Bills, 1998-99; Baltimore Ravens, 2000-03) and won a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens . . . his mother, Alicia, played volleyball at the University of New Mexico . . . his brother, Isaiah, was a running back at Michigan (2020-22) . . . his brother, Elijah, played lacrosse at Albany and is currently in the PLL (Premier Lacrosse League) . . . plans to major in business.
