HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Crystal Lake South HS for coach Brian Bogda ... Helped lead the Gators to the 3A Regional Championship ... A two-time IHSBCA1 3A All-State selection at shortstop ... Also a four-time Fox Valley All-Conference and All-Area honoree, earning first-team All-Area as a junior and senior, after second-team honors as a sophomore ... Set Crystal Lake South career records for hits (157), doubles (40), triples (9), RBI (89), stolen bases (117), runs scored (147) and at bats (401) ... Was team captain both junior and senior seasons ...
