Was fourth on team with .280 average, along with ranking tied for third on team with 29 RBI, in addition to also ranking fourth on team with five home runs and 22 walks, while ranking fifth in slugging percentage (.446), on-base percentage (.363) and total bases (70) ... Bashed first home run as a Spartan in dramatic fashion with a grand slam in third game of season at UNLV (Feb. 19), going 2-for-4 with career-high six RBI ... Posted career-high seven total bases next day at UNLV going 2-for-5 with a triple and home run with two RBI, giving him eight RBI with two HR and one triple in going 4-for-9 in two games ...
