Spartans welcome the Tennessee Volunteers to East Lansing
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men's tennis will host Tennessee for the Spartans' spring home opener this Friday, Feb. 6, at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.
This is the first chance for fans to watch the Green & White compete at home in the 2025-2026 season.
Friday's match-up features a day full of Spartan tennis in East Lansing as the women's tennis team opens the afternoon against Xavier at 4 p.m. ET, followed by the men's match against Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and support both programs as they kick off an exciting day of Spartan Tennis at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.
Friday's match will go beyond the court. The home opener will also be the Spartans' Pink Match and will kickoff the Spartan Strength Kits Donation Drive. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and can donate tumblers, lemon candy, fuzzy socks, lip balm, tea, or unscented lotion to support breast cancer warriors.
Facing a strong Tennessee squad, the Spartans look to make an early statement in front of a home crowd. With energy in the building and a meaningful cause behind the match, Friday night sets the stage for an exciting start to Michigan State's home slate.
First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. EST at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.
Fans that can't make it in person can follow along on social media for live updates throughout the match @MSU_MTennis.
