Thousands Attend Meet the Spartans on Thursday

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Thousands of Michigan State fans filled the concourse at Spartan Stadium on Thursday night for the return of "Meet the Spartans."
The event, powered by Biggby Coffee, gave Spartan fans the chance to take pictures with head coach Jonathan Smith, get autographs from the entire 2025 Michigan State football team, and visit the field at Spartan Stadium. The event also featured numerous fan activities throughout the entire concourse of the stadium.
The annual "Meet the Spartans" event ran for 17 straight years in August from 2003-19 before getting canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last April, the Spartans took pictures and signed autographs prior to the program's 2024 Spring Showcase in Spartan Stadium. The event returned to August in 2025 in Spartan Stadium.
Michigan State opens the 2025 season on Friday, Aug. 29 against Western Michigan at 7 p.m.
