Gottschalk Earns Academic All District Honors

Senior rower Sabrina Gottschalk (Utica, Mich.) has been named to the  2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large team, as announced on Tuesday by College Sports Communicators.

Part of the Academic All-America program, the All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Â To qualify, the nominees must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.

Gottschalk was a mainstay in the Spartan varsity eight, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors. She helped the Spartan varsity eight to its best finish at the Big Ten Championships. The advertising management major also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors as well as National Scholar-Athlete Award honors from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association.Â
