
Spartan Women’s Tennis Sending Individuals To Michigan Invitational This Weekend

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State women's tennis will be sending two individuals to the Michigan Invitational this weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Action at UM's Varsity Tennis Center runs from Friday-Sunday, Jan. 10-12.
Freshman Amara Brahmbhatt and redshirt-sophomore Hanna Tsitavets will be in action for the Spartans, in both singles and doubles play. The Spartan duo will join individuals from Eastern Michigan, and play against No. 15 Ohio State and Texas Tech along with host and No. 8 Michigan.
The weekend opens with doubles action on Friday at 1 p.m., followed by singles matches against Michigan. On Saturday at 10 a.m., the Spartan tandem will play doubles against Michigan, before facing Ohio State in singles play. Sunday's play gets started at 10 a.m. with doubles versus Ohio State, followed by singles action against Texas Tech.
Michigan State opens full dual-match play in the 2025 portion of their schedule on Friday, Jan. 17 at Spokane, Washington, taking on Gonzaga, then play Washington State on Sunday, Jan. 19, also in Spokane. MSU hosts Xavier on Friday, Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. at the MSU Tennis Center.
