Big Ten Conference Road Slate Starts on Wednesday at Penn State

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball hits the road again this week for its first Big Ten Conference road game of the season, at Penn State on Wednesday, Dec. 7 (6:30 p.m., BTN).
The Spartans have lost their last two games and are coming off a 70-63 loss at home to Northwestern in the Big Ten opener for both teams.
Since the start of the regular season, the Spartans have played seven of their 10 games away from home. MSU played three ranked teams, including two in the top-5 (Gonzaga and Kentucky), and traveled to San Diego, Indianapolis, Oregon and South Bend, racking up more than 10,000 miles of travel during the team's first eight games. Following the game on Wednesday night, the Spartans will play three games (Brown, Oakland and Buffalo) in the next 22 days. Per KenPom.com, Michigan State has faced the 4th-toughest slate of opposing offenses in the country, the 16th-toughest slate of opposing defenses and ranks No. 8 overall in strength of schedule.
The game will air live on BTN, with Brandon Gaudin and Shon Morris calling all of the action.
