EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State baseball's annual Green-White World Series was swept by the Green team, winning the annual intrasquad exhibition series at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field to wrap up fall action.
"I'm very pleased with how the fall went," MSU baseball head coach Jake Boss Jr. said. "We have a solid nucleus of returning guys combined with an exciting group of newcomers that I think will make for an exciting spring season."
All three games were seven-inning contests, and two of the three were one-run games. The series opened in dramatic fashion with the Green team winning, 4-3, on a walk-off RBI single by freshman outfielder Jake Dresselhouse, part of his two-hit, four-RBI outing, adding a three-run home run in the first frame.

At the plate, junior infielder Brock Vradenburg recorded two hits, while redshirt-freshman outfielder Jayden Terres knocking a triple and junior infielder Trent Farquhar reaching base three times while logging a sacrifice fly for the White team.
