Spartan Divers Conclude Day 1 Of NCAA Diving Zones

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Michigan State women's diving team concluded its first day of the NCAA Division I Zone C Diving Championships on Thursday, March 8 with the 1-meter.
Freshman Amanda Ling finished with the top-mark for the Spartans, qualifying for the finals on the day and finishing in 14th place overall with a combined score of 537.15. In the preliminaries, Ling scored a 262.00. Junior Morgan Wellenzohn scored a 229.35 and Freshman Erin Neely scored a 223.00 in the preliminary round of the event.
The Spartans will be competing in the 3-meter tomorrow, March 9. The preliminaries of the event will begin at 1 p.m. Live results of the meet can be found here.
