EAST LANSING -- The Michigan State men's golf team will play its sixth and final tournament of the fall this weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the Grandover Collegiate. The tournament, hosted by UNCG, will be played Saturday and Sunday at the Grandover Resort.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Michigan State is making its first trip to the tournament at Grandover since 2010, when it was named the Bridgestone Intercollegiate. The tournament is in its 18th year.

THE COURSE
Opened in March 1996, the East Course was designed by Gary Panks and David Graham. Many of the holes were designed to give a stadium-effect. The course hosted an NCAA Regional in May 2012 and several NCAA Division III men's championships.

"The last event of fall is always kind of a tipping point for the season as it provides the opportunity to enter the break with great momentum. It will be very important to learn a new golf course quickly. Everybody is leaning in and engaged with the process."
