Crosstown Showdown Slated For Sept. 5

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Crosstown Showdown Fall Fanfest presented by Auto Owners Insurance, an exhibition between the Lansing Lugnuts and Michigan State Spartans, will be played on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at Cooley Law School Stadium.

Gates open at 5 p.m. before the home run derby gets underway at 5:30 p.m. The Spartans and Lugnuts will then play a seven-inning game starting at 7 p.m., followed by a post-game fireworks display.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative baseball cap featuring both the Lugnut and Michigan State logos.

Tickets are available through the Michigan State ticket office and the Lugnuts ticket office.
