
Spartans Wrap Up Fall Season at WMU Super Challenge

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team closes out its fall schedule with the WMU Super Challenge this weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich.
On Friday and Saturday, the teams will play one round of doubles at starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by one round of singles and a second round of doubles. On Sunday, the final round of singles play will start at 11 a.m.
Last time out, MSU had great success at the ITA Midwest Tennis Regional. MSU had five players qualify for the main draw, three of which won first round matches. Aslina Chua, Lexi Baylis and Davina Nguyen picked up big wins to advance to the Round of 32 while Erin Faulkner and Athena Trouillot also made the main draw.
Chua leads the Spartans with a 7-1 record in singles play so far this fall, while freshman Samantha Memije has a 4-2 mark. Chua has also teamed up with Lexi Baylis for a 4-3 record in doubles play.

Friday November 4th
11:30am - 1st round of Doubles
12:30pm - 1st round of Singles
3:00pm - 2nd round of Doubles
Saturday November 5th
11:30am - 3rd round of Doubles
12:30pm - 2nd round of Singles
3:00pm - Final round of Doubles
Sunday November 6th
11am - Final round of Singles
