Novice Rowing Tryouts Begin Sept. 8

East Lansing, Mich. -- Novice rowing tryouts begin Tuesday September 8th at 7pm, and the Spartan rowing staff is excited to welcome potential rowers to open tryouts at Jenison Field House daily through Sept. 18. Tryouts are open to all undergraduate students, with no previous rowing experience necessary.
Meetings will be held daily at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. following the first meeting on the 8th, on the fourth floor of Jenison Field House. Interested athletes should bring a photocopy of both their health insurance card and driver's license front and back, and documentation from a physical exam with a doctor clearing them to participate in physical activity.
