Rhynard Named to Academic All-District Team

EAST LANSING, Mich - Cross country and track and field senior Caleb Rhynard was named to the Capital One 2014-15 Academic All-District Men's Track and Field/Cross Country Team on Friday. He represents Michigan State in District 5.
The Shepherd, Michigan, native is majoring in kinesiology and has a cumulative GPA of 3.94. Rynard is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree in cross country, an All-Big Ten First Team member and All-American, as well as a two-time Acadmic All-Big Ten in track and field, and a two-time All-American.
Rhynard finished seventh in the Big Ten Track and Field Championships in the 10,000 meter run, with a time of 19:51.73. He also holds the school records in the 3000 meter run at 7:53.34, and the 5000 meter run with a time of 13:49.60.
