2014-15 Schedule
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head swimming and diving coach Matt Gianiodis has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2014-15 season.
The Spartans will host the annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. to kick off the year before the season officially begins for the women's team on Friday, Oct. 3 when the team travels to South Bend to take on Notre Dame.
On Saturday, Oct. 11, the men's team will see its first action of the season, as both the men's and women's programs will play host to Denison and Grand Valley. The men's and women's teams stay together for the following two weekends, hosting Iowa on Oct. 17 before traveling to Buffalo on Nov. 1.
Both teams return to the Northwestern Invite on Nov. 21-23 where they each took second place last year.
The USA Short Course Nationals will take place on Dec. 4-6 followed by the team's training trip in Delray Beach, Florida, from Dec. 14-23.
MSU returns to duel action on Jan. 8-10 when both teams travel to take on Purdue. The women's team heads to Bowling Green on Jan.16 before returning home, where both teams host Ohio State on Jan. 23.
Michigan State closes out the regular season with a duel match vs. Michigan at home. The women will compete on Feb.6 and the men on Feb. 7.
The Women's Big Ten championships will take place on Feb. 18-21 in Columbus, Ohio, while the Men's Big Ten Championships will be held Feb. 25-28 at Iowa. The NCAA Diving Zones will take place March 12-14.
The 2015 NCAA Women's Championships are set for March 19-21 in Greensboro, N.C., while the NCAA Men's Championships are March 26-28 in Iowa City.
