Franklin To Represent MSU at U.S. Outdoor Championships

EAST LANSING, Michigan - Junior Tori Franklin will travel to Sacramento, California this week to represent Michigan State at the 2014 U.S. Track & Field Outdoor Championships. Franklin will be competing in the triple jump on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET at Sacramento State University's Hornet Stadium.
Franklin earned her fifth career All-America honors earlier this month at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing 13th. She is Michigan State's record holder in both the indoor and outdoor triple jump, owning an outdoor personal best mark of 13.49m/44-3.25.
At last year's U.S. Championships, Franklin placed fifth overall and was the top returning collegiate.
