MSU vs. CMU Results
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's track & field squads got their first taste of competition for the upcoming season with a scrimmage at Central Michigan University on Friday afternoon. The exhibition meet was held at CMU's Jack Skoog Indoor Track & Field Complex.
"There were a lot of good performances all over the track tonight," said assistant coach Ceith Creekmur. "This was a nice way to cap off our fall training and have our athletes go against some good competition to get them prepared for when everything gets going in January.
"As coaches, the biggest thing we take away from this type of event is being able to talk about what we did well and what we can improve on as we move forward."
