DES MOINES, IOWA - Two Spartans were in action on Day 2 and 3 of the NCAA Track & Field Championships.
On Thursday, Junior Beth Rohl competed in the Women's Hammer Throw, placing 23rd. Rohl had an effort of 56.33 meters (184-9) on her first attempt before fouling on the next two attempts, eliminating her from the finals.
This evening, redshirt freshman Leah O'Connor participated in the finals of the Women's 3000-Meter Steeplechase, but pulled out seven minutes into the race and did not finish.
The final day of NCAA Championship competition for MSU begins at 10:00am, Saturday, with Zack Hill in the Shot Put and Tori Franklin in the Women's Triple Jump.
