Gymnastics Hosts Meet the Spartans

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State University gymnastics will be holding their Meet the Spartans event on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 2:30 p.m. in Jenison Field House.
The event will feature an exhibition by several Spartan gymnastics team members. Also, head coach Kathie Klages will be teaching attendees on what the judges look for at competitions. All attendees will have the opportunity to have items autographed by the MSU gymnastics team and coaches.
Spartan fans may also enter Fox47's "Be a Gymnast for a Day" contest by Wednesday, Jan. 2. Eight winners will receive VIP tickets to the Meet the Spartans event and a chance to participate in various gymnastics moves. To be eligible for the contest, children must be at least four years old and not yet in ninth grade.
