Track & Field Closes Out Action at EMU Twilight

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Michigan State track & field team had two members of its team close out action at the EMU Twilight on Saturday, April 23 in Ypsilanti, Mich. Competing unattached for MSU was senior Stephen Humes and freshman Maria Beach.
Beach placed eighth in the 400m dash with a career-best time of 57.59. Beach also clocked in a career-best 26.25 in the 200m dash.
Humes finished the 800m run with a time of 1:54.60 for fifth place.
Several sprinters kick-off action tomorrow (April 24) at the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
