Gymnastics Signs Four to National Letters of Intent

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State gymnastics head coach Kathie Klages announced Thursday that four student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Michigan State next fall and compete for the 2012-13 Spartan gymnastics team. The signees include Lisa Burt (Port Orange, Fla., ACE Gymnastics), Nicola Deans (Mississauga, Ontario, Team Futures), Kate Filosi (Killingworth, Conn., Gymnastics Express) and Brittany Holmes (Lansing, Mich., Twistars Gymnastics Club).
"We are thrilled with this recruiting class," said MSU head coach Kathie Klages. "This class addresses some depth issues that our team currently is faced with. All four of these gymnasts are strong all-around competitors with national experience. Together, they are one of the most talented classes I have brought to MSU."
